My name is Wade Westfall. I am running as the Republican Candidate in the November 3 General Election for Miami County Commissioner.
I am a lifelong resident of Miami County, born and raised in Piqua, Ohio. I’ve been married to my wife, Susan, for over 36 years. We lived on a farm in Miami East School District where we raised our four sons and now enjoy being grandparents. We have attended church in Tipp City for the past 25 years. Family and faith have always been important to us.
For the past three years, I have enjoyed living in downtown Troy in a building that we saved from demolition. I feel blessed to live here and be an active participant in this county. My work history and my community involvement demonstrate my passion for economic development and fiscal responsibility.
In my work organizing baseball leagues, downtown redevelopment, business creation and as a former county commissioner, I have always been willing to serve and work with others to achieve real results. It’s this attitude that makes someone a great public servant. I embody the spirit of someone that is firm in my principles with a willingness to listen and partner with others. I want to see Miami County continue to strive to be a healthy and thriving community where everyone benefits.
My promise; I will work hard to find the best possible solutions with the best possible results, being accountable to our God, conservative values and the citizens of Miami County. I humbly ask for your support on November 3.
